Hello Dance Movers,
These are uncertain times and we at Dance Moves are seriously considering all options for your continued health and wellness. PLEASE WATCH YOUR DANCE MOVES EMAILS FOR ANY UPDATED INFORMATION AND NOTIFICATIONS. We will continue to monitor the suggestions put forth by Alberta Health Services and follow their professional lead. It is so important to stay healthy, and exercise is one of the key ingredients for boosting your immune system. We must be cognizant and protective of each other so please see the guidelines below as directed by Alberta Health Services.
1. In order to protect the health of our Dance Moves community and the public we ask that you refrain from entering a Dance Moves class if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: • Fever • Cough • Shortness of Breath Or if in the last 14 days you have: a) Traveled to an area that has confirmed cases b) Traveled outside the country c) Been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. At this time, PHAC (Public Health Agency of Canada) has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low for the general population in Canada but this could change rapidly. There is an increased risk of more severe outcomes for Canadians: • aged 65 and over • with compromised immune systems • with underlying medical conditions Please err on the side of caution, your wellness is most important!! 2. Please use hand sanitizer upon entering your Dance Moves class and anytime during the class you feel necessary. (each instructor will have hand sanitizer available). 3. Social distancing must be adhered to at all times in class. Try to stay 6 feet from your fellow dancers. You are encouraged and welcome to attend classes that have more space and fewer people. Please check the website schedule for more info regarding this. (see classes listed as “spacious”) There will be no sign-in sheet at class and if you are wanting to register for the spring session please just email your instructor or the Dance Moves office and we would be happy to take care of it for you. Take care, get plenty of rest, eat healthily and drink lots of water.
